The role

We are currently looking for an admin assistant to help support the credit control by providing additional help around administration and account maintenance. You will be working with the team to maintain account data on the system, manage direct debit mandates which includes monitoring returns and distributing to banks when necessary.

You will also be the prime administrator for direct debit file creation, setting up our virtual bank accounts to support the automatic processing of customer receipts. You will work alongside the team to help post and allocate customer receipts to respective debtor accounts and invoices as per the customer remittances.

This an instrumental role in the team that will act as the key support to help the team achieve their creditor goals alongside keeping accounts happy through the prompt resolution of queries.

Whereas the credit controllers are liaising with customers directly on the phone this role is very much keeping track of direct debits and dealing with any issues or problems that may arise. Finall,y you will also be dealing with the general inbox for the team either responding to enquiries or escalating to the correct team member.
