The role

We are currently looking for an Associate People Business Partner to support the People Business Partners to help develop the operational and strategic advice on all people issues across the business functions including our parent company, DP World's head office in London. The business is going through a huge amount of cultural change that will allow it to move to a position of strength in the ferry market.

We are a part of a global organisation, DP World and part of this role is to help the business integrate the global People plan on a local level. You will be working with our functional leads across the business within talent planning, succession, capability development, organisational design, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management and leadership development.

One of our main drivers within the business is to develop a high-performance culture and you will be integral in changing and adapting leaders’ mindsets around this. You will also be involved in supporting the business on operational issues working with the wider People Team to deliver a best-in-class service.

We are currently working on a hybrid basis with three days in the office and two days from home

The person

So who are we looking for?

- Previous experience working as HR professional in a Head Office environment

- HR degree, CIPD or equivalent qualification

- Fantastic ability to juggle multiple projects across conflicting timelines

- A strong commercial understanding and an innate understanding of P&L

- The ability to influence and communicate with senior leaders

- Strong numeracy skills and solid verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to gain credibility and gravitas with leaders.
