We are thrilled to offer an opportunity within our Network Department for a Network Flushing Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively flushing the distribution network and identifying maintenance needs, all while ensuring that activities are aligned with PW’s operating procedures. You will also ensure that all company and regulatory standards are consistently followed.
With a positive, proactive attitude, you will confidently manage queries in a calm and thoughtful manner. You’ll enjoy working in a supportive team environment, with the opportunity to work outdoors and tackle new challenges each day. Your efforts will play a key role in providing a vital service to our customers. You’ll also work closely with other departments and external partners to resolve network and customer concerns. The successful candidate will consistently reflect our core values of Excellence, Integrity, and Future Focus.

The successful applicant will be required to have a full UK manual car driving licence (Class B), will have to undergo a driving assessment, consent to ongoing driving licence checks and additionally any other safety measures deemed necessary by Portsmouth Water Ltd in connection with driving.
If you are successful for the role, you will be required to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) pre-employment checks that will include a basic disclosure check. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the national security vetting process for either a CTC or SC clearance check. Any offer of employment is conditional upon completion and receipt of satisfactory checks.
