Ideal opening for a graduate looking to develop their career within business development and marketing in the investment industry. To be successful you will need to be educated to a minimum of an Upper 2nd (2:1) class honours degree or above in a relevant subject, together with strong Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent qualification) – minimum grade B. You will need to demonstrate excellent IT skills particularly in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Whilst previous experience is not essential, exposure or work experience gained within marketing or business development would be of distinct advantage. An awareness and general enthusiasm for the investment and wealth management arena is essential.
To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate sound investment knowledge, with a proven track record gained within the investment/wealth management industry in a comparable role. You will need to exhibit within your career history proven evidence in creating successful client relationships and building new business opportunities. You will be achievement driven, with proven experience in all areas of the new business lifecycle including formulating and writing proposals, preparing and delivering pitches and subsequent client negotiations. Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work is essential, in particular taking responsibility for personal and technical continuous professional development.
To be successful you will ideally be educated to degree level and be able to demonstrate relevant experience gained within a client servicing role in either the retail banking, operations, or wealth management industry. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential as is the ability to work to deadlines, ensuring accuracy in both written and numerical work. A high level of experience using Microsoft Office based software essential.
