Your new role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to develop and make a positive contribution to the organisation at this exciting time, undertaking the role of Data Protection Adviser, reporting to the Data Protection Officer, within our Legal and Governance team.
You will be interested in data protection and IT, and it will help if you have some experience of working directly or collaboratively in these areas. You will be curious, have a strong ethical sense and an ability to work well with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. You will be comfortable in learning new skills, absorbing and applying technical information and prepared to undertake professional training in GDPR.
This is a full-time (37 hour per week) role. It is essential for you to be adaptable, and regularly work from different Radian sites, although your base can be either in Yeovil or Eastleigh.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone of either graduate level education or a proven track record of handling complex material with confidence and skill, who has integrity, enthusiasm and a positive outlook. If successful, you will be part of a busy and inspiring team that sits at the heart of the organisation, is involved in all of its major projects and demonstrates Radian values in all we do.
