We’re responsible for delivering responsive repairs, ‘right first time’ across the entire operational area of Abri. Utilising both in-house teams and approved sub-contractors, we carry out the response repairs to our customers’ homes ranging from electrical, carpentry and plumbing repairs as well as plastering and decorating. We also carry out external repairs such as fencing and groundworks.
Your new role
Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional and friendly? Our Commercial Services team has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our new Floor Layer.
You’ll responsible for the delivery of various types of floor coverings and from time to time you’ll attend repairs and renewals for responsive repairs team within our Liss area.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch - we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.
Your day to day will involve:
• Preparing and fitting vinyl to wet rooms.
• Accurately measuring, preparing floors using latex or plywood and fit vinyl sheet flooring, safety flooring or vinyl tiles of our properties.
• Carrying out minor repairs to all types of floor coverings and eliminating any hazards so our customers remain safe in their homes.
• Working and assisting with our colleagues as and when required, ensuring that our customers always receive the best service.
In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the organisation by using your ‘can do’ attitude to provide a high-quality, ‘right first time’ service to our customers all while being the friendly face of Abri.
