Our Technician Salary Structure (London)
We operate a clear, structured banding system, based on skill level:
- Technician Level 2: £32,000 pa (typically PDI / Preparation roles only)
- Technician Level 3: £38,000 pa
- Technician Level 3 (progressing towards Senior): £40,000 pa
- Senior Technician: £42,000 pa
- Master Technician: £50,000 pa
✅ + £1,000 pa for holding a valid MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7)
✅ Uncapped bonus (measured weekly) and additional overtime available on request
✅ Access to Renault Retail Group’s ECOS/ECOP new car scheme, with high‑spec vehicles replaced annually

Typical Responsibilities
- Routine servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnostics and fault‑finding
- MOT testing (where qualified)
- Working to manufacturer and safety standards
- Road‑testing vehicles where required
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification as the standard entry point for Technician roles
- Level 2 qualifications considered for PDI / Preparation Technician roles only
- MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7) is beneficial (training support available)
- A careful, professional approach to work
- Strong attention to quality and safety
- Ability to work collaboratively within a workshop team
- Full UK manual driving licence
