Riverside have a new opportunity for a night assistant, working full-time on a permanent basis.


Who you’ll be helping

Based in Guildford, Vaughan House offers supported housing to 18-65 males and females who are single, homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Residents may have complex support needs, such as substance abuse, mental health issues or offending behaviour. We work to create greater independence and success in employment, education or training.

Though sometimes your resilience will be required, working with our clients is incredibly rewarding and your input can truly make a difference here.

What will you do?

As a trusted member of our team, you will assist in the delivery of a high quality support, security and housing service to our clients.


Day to day

Your usual responsibilities as a Vaughan House night assistant will include:

  • Effectively dealing with anti-social behaviour.

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, preparation of rooms and site inspections.

  • Implementing night security systems, ensuring the overall safety and security of the scheme.

  • Meeting the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.

You have preferably worked with vulnerable clients in a housing or support setting before.
