Riverside have a new opportunity for Relief Workers in Manchester, you will earn £9.49 per hour.

Working as a Relief Worker you will need to be able to work flexibly and cover sickness and holidays on an as and when basis, including the possibility of night and weekend shifts.

Who you will be helping

Working with Look Ahead Care and Support to deliver Kent Homeless Connect, we provide accommodation and support at The Quays which provides you with a stable home, focuses on your strengths and empowers you to take the next step towards independence and break the cycle of homelessness.

The Quays provides support and accommodation to vulnerable homeless adults aged 18 and over, with complex support needs, e.g., mental health, substance misuse, trauma, who are rough sleeping, homeless, at risk of homelessness or impacted by homelessness.

What will you do?

As a Relief worker, you will be the first point of contact for customers, working on reception, general cleaning and housekeeping duties, health and safety checks and reporting in order to maintain the safety of the customers and the vibrancy of the service.

Does this describe you?

The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in a homeless or support setting and have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to show initiative and remain resilient, reliable and motivated at all times.
