The difference you’ll make

You’ll be providing system support for the Business Partner team. Ensuring data is maintained and changes are managed with robust financial controls and process. In supporting the Business Partnering team, you’ll undertake routine financial analysis relating to the group budgeting, forecasting and business plan processes and assist with the production of monthly reports and presentations for the senior management team.

Not only will you establish a change control process in all Business Partner systems to ensure all changes are properly approved and communicated to stakeholders, you’ll also maintain hierarchy structures within forecast and budget systems. In addition to that, you’ll support month end, budgets and forecasts by uploading data files, UAT for any fixes or upgrades as well as delivery of training and providing advice on the use of the system. You’ll also be involved with responding to queries from internal customers, creating new templates, group budgeting and forecasting processes and support the production of the annual 30 year group Business Plan.

So, who are you?

We’re looking for an individual with the ability to establish and embed robust processes and controls and a strong interest in systems administration. You’ll ideally be highly numerate with the ability to carry out financial planning, analysis and reporting. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to work with complex information to identify trends and patterns. You are someone who shows initiative, proposes solutions to issues identified, takes ownership of tasks and focuses on continuous improvement.

Your commercial awareness, customer focus and excellent communication skills allow you to work at all levels within the business. Tremendous attention to detail, working flexibly and managing conflicting priorities to meet business requirements as well as working under pressure to deliver to strict deadlines are some of your key strengths. Essentially, you’ll be comfortable working in a matrix environment with a range of stakeholders and have in interest in studying towards a financial qualification if you aren’t in the process of doing so already. Knowledge of planning, analytics software and Sun systems would be desirable.
