Riverside have a new opportunity for a Care Assistant, working part time, on a permanent basis. You’ll earn £14,798 per annum.


You will be required to work 30 hours per week on a flexible basis.


Who you’ll be helping

Located near the centre of Washington, Willow Brook is a modern place to live for the over 55s with care needs. Individual packages are offered which include care delivered by on-site staff. Each of our apartments are adaptable depending on people’s needs.

While Riverside does have roles for Support Workers, this is a role perfect for those looking for care work.


What will you do?

As a trusted member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality care services to the standard required in line with ECHG purpose and values.


Day to day

Your key responsibilities as a Willow Brook Care Assistant will include:

• Provide assistance to Residents in need of physical personal care.
• Carry out individual work and tasks with Residents in line with support plans.
• Assist Residents to maintain or improve their quality of life.
• Recognise signs of distress in Residents.
• Give Residents control over their lives where possible.

Does this describe you?

You are flexible, empathetic, inclusive and resilient. Even better, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills too.

You will have experience of working within a residential environment offering personal care to a diverse group of people. You have National Care Standards Awareness as well as knowledge of Housing, Health and Safety legislation and regulations. You have basic administration paired with demonstratable basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
