Riverside have a fantastic opportunites for a relief workers to join the team in Ashford, working on a casual basis covering sickness and holidays.
Who you’ll be helping
You will provide support and accommodation to vulnerable homeless adults aged 18 and over, with complex support needs, e.g., mental health, substance misuse, trauma, who are rough sleeping, homeless, at risk of homelessness or impacted by homelessness.
Though some days your resilience will be required, working with our clients is incredibly rewarding and your input can truly make a difference here.

What will you do?
As a trusted member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for customers, maintaining the safety of the customers and the vibrancy of the service.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start their support or housing career, a new challenge or additional hours.
Day to day
Your key responsibilities as a Lily Smith House relief worker will include:
• Covering reception
• Some administrative work and general support in running the scheme
• Cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Carrying out health and safety checks

Does this describe you?
You have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to show initiative and remain resilient, reliable and motivated at all times.
Though not essential by any means, you have experience of working in a homeless or support setting.
