Since it was founded in 1993, Irvine HA has grown into one of the most ambitious, innovative and community-minded housing associations in the west of Scotland.

We now have more than 2,300 properties housing thousands of people across North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway with plans underway to expand further into South Ayrshire this year.

We’re now looking for an Asset Officer to help out and play a crucial role in helping us transform lives and revitalise neighbourhoods.

The difference you’ll make

Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Manager, you’ll support day to day contractor performance ensuring legislative, regulatory and contractual compliance whilst maximising value for money and delivering an excellent customer service. Service delivery responsibilities will include controlling the day-to-day response and void repair service, conducting pre and post inspections of works instructed to contractors as well as assisting allocation officer with such repair and inspection services. In addition, you’ll carry out specification writing, contract supervision and post contract administrative responsibilities for cyclical and planned works programmes. Lastly, you’ll produce regular analysis of the performance statistics on contractor performance from the online system reports.

So, who are you?

You’ll have significant experience of delivering a high-quality responsive repairs service within defined budgetary constraints as well as effective multi-disciplinary partnership working and delivering excellent services that achieve customer focussed outcomes. A relevant HNC to the discipline would also be preferred.
