Riverside are looking to recruit a full time Support Worker at their scheme in Gloucester working 37.5 hours per week, on a shift rota basis working 5 days from 7. This is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months covering maternity.

Your role will involve, providing positive support for our clients with risk assessments and support plans, you will work through challenging barriers, and empower clients to develop the skills needed to live independently.

You will work proactively, to form strong relationships and gain our clients trust, striving to provide the best possible service levels.

Ideally, you’ll already have experience of working with vulnerable clients in a housing/social care setting. If not, you will be given on the job training but will certainly have the initiative, empathy, interpersonal skills, resilience and sensitivity to appreciate how everyday housing issues impact on quality of life.

Commitment to providing the quality service that our clients need is also essential.  You will have excellent communication, IT and customer service skills and the organisational skills required to deal with a range of administrative issues.
