Riverside are looking to recruit Relief Workers at Britton House in Warmley, Gloucestershire.
Riverside are a national housing, care and support provider, we need enthusiastic, dedicated, caring people to become part of our team. Working as a Relief Worker you will need to be able to work flexibly and cover sickness and holidays on an as and when basis, including the possibility of night and weekend shifts.
Britton House helps customers with complex support needs as well as offender and/or homelessness backgrounds. As a Relief Worker your duties will include working on reception as the first point of contact for customers, general cleaning duties and health and safety checks, to keep our services vibrant and safe.
Ideally, you’ll already have experience of working with vulnerable clients in a housing/social care setting. If not, you will be given on the job training but will certainly have the initiative, empathy, interpersonal skills, resilience and sensitivity to appreciate how everyday housing issues impact on quality of life.
Commitment to providing the quality service that our clients need is also essential. You will have excellent communication, IT and customer service skills and the organisational skills required to deal with a range of administrative issues.
In return for your hard work, you will be given access to many employee benefits such as the employee savings scheme.
If you’re thinking of joining us, we’d love to hear from you. We encourage applicants from all sections of the community so that we can truly reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work.
