Riverside are currently recruiting a full time Project Assistant to work as part of the Support team at Bearbrook Place in Aylesbury.
Bearbrook Place is a service for customers who are homeless or at risk of homelessness who have complex needs including mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse and offending behaviour, providing support and engaging clients in work or training with the aim of enabling them to live independantly.
The Project Assistant will work alongside a Support Worker to guide, mentor and support young people and vulnerable adults living in the project to improve their living skills and increase their chances of securing permanent accommodation.
Experience of working in the sector is not necessary but we do look for people to be solution-oriented, people-focussed and willing to learn. We work closely with partner agencies and have other projects in the area; the successful candidate would be expected to liaise and build links with colleagues and partners from Housing, Benefits, Local Authorities, Social Services, Police, Probation and many others.
