Riverside have a new opportunity for a Night Assistant, working full time on a permanent basis.

Who you’ll be helping

Bearbrook place is a service for young people and adults who have experainced homelessness and are preparing to move into independent accommodation.

While Riverside does have roles for carers, this is a role perfect for those looking for support work.

What will you do?

The position is lone working and each shift will start and finish with a handover from and to the day team to ensure any isses are dealt with efficiently. The sylesbury team will be buddied up with the Night Assistants from its sister service in High Wycombe and will involve regular mutual telephone support.

Day to day

Your key responsibilities as a Bearbrook Place Night Assistant will include:

• Basic Health and Safety checks of the building]
• Covering Reception
• Monitoring CCTV
• Stock Control
• Record keeping and general administrativie tasks

Though not essential by any means, you have preferably worked with vulnerable clients in a housing or support setting before.
