Riverside have a new opportunity for a Housing Worker, working full-time, on a permanent basis. You’ll earn £21,421 per year, increasing to by 5% after 18 months, dependent on performance.


Who you’ll be helping

Riverside are looking to recruit full time Housing Workers across Maidstone and Ashford working 37.5 hours per week.

If you answered ‘yes’ to the above then we want YOU to be part of our new team delivering an innovative new services to people who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless across Maidstone and Ashford.

What will you do?

You will advise and assist Single Ex Service personnel, both post and pre discharge, to secure suitable accommodation, ensuring that the service is meeting both contractual and funders requirements.

Day to day

Your key responsibilities as a Housing Worker will include:

• Delivering a ‘best practice’ housing service, appropriate to service users’ needs.
• Undertaking referrals and assessments of potential service users, working with them to identify the most appropriate housing solution for their needs.
• Ensure service users are signposted to relevant external services.
• Ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensuring the delivery of an effective and consistent administration system.
