About the Role
Do you believe that education has the power to transform lives?
We are looking for a friendly, highly organised and meticulous individual to join us as a Retention Improvement Officer. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to attendance and engagement, ensuring they have every opportunity to succeed in their studies and achieve their potential.
As a key member of the team, you will monitor attendance and retention, build positive relationships with students, parents and carers, and work closely with teaching and support staff to identify concerns early and implement strategies that improve student participation and success. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, confidence in handling data and records, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
We are seeking someone who can combine empathy with professionalism—someone who enjoys problem-solving, is proactive in following up concerns, and understands that regular attendance can be life-changing for students. If you are motivated by making a real difference every day and thrive in a people-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.
Join us and help students stay engaged, achieve their goals, and unlock brighter futures through education.
