FutureSkills College is seeking a highly organised and proactive Centre Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our vibrant college centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service to students, staff and visitors.

Working closely with the Centre Principal, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient administration of the centre, supporting operational activities and helping to create a positive experience for everyone who visits or studies at FutureSkills.

About the Role

As Centre Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the centre, acting as a key point of contact for students, staff and stakeholders. You will manage a variety of tasks, from reception cover and customer service duties to supporting meetings, maintaining records and assisting the Centre Principal with administrative and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily administration and operation of the FutureSkills centre.
  • Manage telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist the Centre Principal with diary management, meeting coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare meeting documentation, take notes and distribute actions where required.
  • Provide occasional front-line reception and customer service support for students, visitors and staff.
  • Maintain accurate student, course and centre records.
  • Support enrolment, induction and student-related administrative activities.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices and other administrative documentation as required.
  • Support the organisation of centre events, open evenings and employer engagement activities.
  • Monitor and order office supplies and resources.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum, support and central service teams to ensure an excellent student experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Is approachable, professional and customer-focused.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Has previous administrative experience, ideally within education, training or a customer-facing environment.
