Multi-Skilled Operative (Empty Homes Team)
Fixed term contract – 6 month
40 Hours Per Week
Up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience), pro rata
Including £1,000 Vehicle Responsibility Allowance
We are looking for a multi-skilled operative to join our Voids (Empty Homes) team which is part of our wider Homefix team. Our Homefix brand provides high-quality responsive repairs and planned works service to our customers.
As a multiskilled operative in our Empty Homes team, you will work on our void properties, completing refurbishment works to a good standard including kitchen and bathroom installations, joinery, plumbing, tiling, flooring and painting. This vacancy is currently being offered on a temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have experience in the installation of kitchens and bathrooms.
- Be competent in all aspects of domestic plumbing.
- Have experience in carpentry, particularly studwork and internal doors.
- Have great communication skills and be a good team player.
- Have experience in all aspects of decorating to a high standard.
- Be competent in using IT including a tablet.
- Hold a full UK driving license and able to drive a large company van.
- Have physical ability to undertake demanding manual handling activities.
