We’re looking for a Plumbing & Gas Operative to join our HomeFix team. You’ll play an important role in keeping our customers’ homes safe, secure and well maintained by delivering a high‑quality repairs and maintenance service.

In this role, your work will predominantly focus on plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations in customers’ homes. During periods of higher demand, you’ll also support the team by carrying out gas servicing, repairs and installation works, in line with your qualifications and Gas Safe requirements. This flexible approach helps us meet customer needs and maintain service standards across the HomeFix service.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

• Have experience carrying out domestic plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations
• Hold relevant gas qualifications and be registered with Gas Safe
• Understand health and safety requirements and safe ways of working
• Be confident working in occupied homes and communicating clearly with customers
• Be comfortable using handheld devices to record job details and materials
• Manage your workload effectively and meet agreed appointments
• Display behaviours consistent with Saxon Weald’s values
• Hold a full UK driving licence
