Lead with clinical excellence. Make a difference every day.
Are you a passionate, values-led nursing leader who believes that exceptional care starts with exceptional leadership?
We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Registered Manager to lead Treetops, our purpose-built, 21-bed high-dependency nursing home. We provide specialist, person-centred nursing care and support to people with complex health and care needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and acquired brain injury.
Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team of nurses, a neuro-physiotherapist, team leaders and enabling support workers, you will lead a service where clinical expertise, compassionate care and a commitment to individual potential come together to make a real difference to people's lives.
At Treetops, the focus goes beyond meeting people's health and care needs. It is about recognising each person as an individual, promoting choice and independence, and supporting people to live fulfilling lives with dignity, purpose and connection.
About the role
As Registered Manager, you will provide strong, visible leadership across the service, creating a positive culture where residents receive high-quality care and staff feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Lead with purpose – inspire, support and develop a skilled team to deliver safe, compassionate and consistently high-quality care.
- Champion clinical excellence – promote robust clinical governance, evidence-based practice and high standards of nursing care for people with complex needs.
- Promote person-centred care and independence – ensure people's needs, wishes, abilities and aspirations shape their care and support, with a focus on meaningful outcomes and quality of life.
- Strengthen multidisciplinary working – bring together nursing, neuro-physiotherapy and enabling support to deliver coordinated, individualised care.
- Develop a positive team culture – create an environment where staff feel valued, confident in their practice and supported to learn and develop.
- Drive quality and improvement – maintain regulatory compliance, lead effective quality assurance and foster a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement.
- Shape the future of the service – work collaboratively with residents, families, health professionals and colleagues across Shaftesbury to develop practice and improve outcomes.
About you
You will be an experienced nursing leader with the clinical insight, management skills and personal values to lead a specialist service supporting people with complex needs.
You will bring:
- Registered nursing qualification and professional registration for the role.
- Experience of leading a care or nursing service, with the ability to balance clinical quality, operational management and regulatory responsibilities.
- A strong understanding of clinical governance, safe nursing practice, quality assurance and effective risk management.
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
- A visible, approachable and person-centred leadership style, with the confidence to build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and external professionals.
Experience of learning disabilities, acquired brain injury, complex physical health needs or neuro-rehabilitation would be valuable.
Above all, you will share our belief that people should be supported to live the lives they choose, achieve their potential and be treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
