SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.
We are currently looking to recruit a Masonry Project Manager who will manage large, complex orders that have already been won, through to fruition and invoice attaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
What does the role involve?
As Project Tracking Manager, you will manage each masonry support order from the point of it being won through final design, amendments, approval, manufacture, delivery and invoice. You will provide consistent, timely communications with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers to keep projects on track, managing up to 20 projects at any one time.
The role is a hybrid position with the ability for the successful candidate to work in the office and at home.
The successful candidate will be:
• A highly organised and prepared self-starter who can work independently and as part of a small team
• Able to multi-task on a daily basis with several current work streams
• Accurate and articulate
• Excellent communication skills – to be the ‘hub’ between suppliers, customers, team members, branches. Good written and verbal/phone skills are essential
• Relationship builder – both with internal and external stakeholders
• Sales / office experience in producing quotations and following them up
• Strong understanding of project tracking, building materials and the construction/build process
• Ability to produce high quality and accurate reports in a fast-paced sales environment
• Quality / audit experience (Desirable)
• Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office. ERP, CRM & Trello system knowledge experience (Desirable)
• Experience within the construction industry experience (Desirable)
