We are currently looking to recruit a Data Input Assistant to help support our visually impaired Branch Sales Manager, at our Rotherham Branch, with various aspects of his role but primarily to input data and access information on the group’s computer system.
What does the role involve?
As the Data Entry Support Worker, you will help support our visually impaired Branch Sales Manager, helping with the inputting of sales orders, quotes, purchase orders on to our K8 system, as well as help with checking of stock levels and collaborating closely with warehouse team to ensure the smooth running of product delivery. In addition, he may require assistance with investigating new product lines, reviewing customer pricing structures and organising promotional offers, breakfast mornings and other sales development activities.
The successful candidate will require:

• The ability to work to deadlines and adapt to a quick changing work environment
• Ensuring that the Sales Manager can perform his job function with appropriate support
• Accuracy of data inputting and accuracy of accessing and relaying information
• Empathy, patience and understanding, with the ability to work closely and give support
• Good timekeeping and attendance record
• Effective communication and planning skills alongside the ability to prioritise their workload
You may be required to gain product and roofing knowledge to aid in the understanding of the product you are entering onto the system.
Hours of work are: Monday to Friday: 7am-4pm
