We are currently looking to recruit a Loading Operative for the Transport Department, who will the load the finished goods onto various types of vehicles, including customer collections, ensuring goods are picked, packed and loaded safely and efficiently.

What does the role involve?
As Loading Operative, you will:
• Load materials on outgoing vehicles and stack orders to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance checks
• Keep updated records and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

The successful candidate will require:
• Experience in manual handling
• To be a great team player
• Good knowledge of safe working practices
• Hold a Forklift Licence (essential)
