We are currently looking to recruit an UK Credit Collections Manager who will take day to day responsibility for UK Collections team, monitoring and driving performance to targets, supporting the offshore team to achieve desired quality/required standards and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement to manage business expectation levels on debt management and service levels..


What's the role?

As the UK Credit Collections Manager, you will:

Be Customer Focused - Building relationships with key customers within the business, both internal and external customers, and identifying opportunities to improve procedures to enhance customer service and debt management.

Drive Business Performance - Understanding the business drivers (commercial vs financial) affecting the management of cash and to implement effective and efficient controls to support business growth and achieve working capital targets.

Safeguard the Business - Ensuring standard working practices and procedures are followed. Maintaining adherence to the credit policy, data protection, anti-money laundering and anti-bribery rules and regulations, ensuring that all SOPs reviewed annually, or whenever relevant changes occur.


The successful candidate will require:

  • A sound understanding of business processes, procedures and policies.
  • A sound understanding of relevant legislation e.g. data protection.
  • Strong performance and motivational skills with data analytics, reporting and ledger management skills.
  • Planning and organisational skills with the ability to act within agreed authority, to resolve issues, prioritise and manage team deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate verbally or in writing to all levels of the business.
  • A Customer and commercial focus with a strong commitment to delivery, quality, excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Review over limit issues to ensure order release volumes are minimised and month 4+ reviews to minimise aged debt. Wider understanding of key working capital drivers essential.
