We’re looking for a naturally caring individual who's dedicated to helping others in need to join our Learning Disability service, providing care and support to our customers based in Newport, Ryde and Ventnor.
As a Care and Support Worker you will help people with their general life skills, health and wellbeing, assistance with meal preparation and accessing activities in the wider community
Ideally you should be qualified to NVQ level 2 in Care (or equivalent) and have recent paid or voluntary experience working with people who have support needs; however, no previous experience is necessary as we will give you all the support and training you need for the role.
The 35 hours are to be worked flexibly on a rota basis covering early morning, afternoon and early evening calls. You must hold a full, current driving licence and have access to a vehicle, for which a generous mileage allowance will be paid. You will also be paid travel time between visits!
