Are you a naturally caring person who wants to build a career that’s dedicated to helping others in need? Do you have an appetite for learning? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
We’re looking for a Care and Support Apprentice to join our Single Homeless Pathway team! This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week (across 7 days to include evenings and weekends). The apprenticeship course will run for 18 months.
As the Care and Support Apprentice, you’ll be working alongside a skilled team of Care and Support Workers where you’ll learn all about our services which we deliver to our young residents and those with complex needs, so they can develop independent living skills, remain independent and move on to living within the wider community and prevent future homelessness. Of course, no experience is necessary as we will provide you with thorough training throughout the entire Apprenticeship which will enable you to build on your knowledge and skills to be successful in this role. Once you’ve obtained your NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care at the end of this Apprenticeship, we’d love for you to continue working for us and take advantage of our fantastic career progression opportunities!
You’ll need to have GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 9 – 5) and be willing to attend college on a weekly basis throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship.
Our package includes:
