We have a great opportunity in the Anton Mill factory to become an Assembly Supervisor.

You will supervise the assembly team to deliver customer demand, meeting cost, quality and productivity targets as a minimum and exceeding where possible.

Reporting to the Assistant Production Manager you will promote best manufacturing techniques within the team and promote an environment of continuous improvement throughout manufacturing.

Previous experience as a supervisor or relevant second in command is essential along with knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes.

Excellent communication skills will be essential as you will be responsible for a team of approximately 9 people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily H&S audits and checks
  • Ensure the team are working to the latest Risk assessments and Safe systems of work
  • Ensure the working area and gang ways are kept in a clean and safe condition
  • Carry out training and ensure the Training matrix is updated accordingly
  • Ensure the correct and up to date drawings are being used
  • Make sure the team has all the tools required to complete the task in hand
  • Check and amend T&A (time and attendance) as required
  • Use the productivity calculator to ensure the team is resourced correctly to complete work to customer demand
  • Record and investigate all quality issues and produce a monthly report on performance and improvements
  • Liaise with Design and Production engineering and provide feedback and technical advice on assembly items

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic secondary school education
