We have a brilliant opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join Stannah. As the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor, you will provide advice and guidance on Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental matters at all levels across both the Lifts Distribution and Service and Sales and Installations divisions, covering activities at our own premises and on-site.

Focusing on our sites and client group based in the Midlands and North of England our ideal candidate will be based either in the Midlands, North of England or Scotland. 

Travel is a key component of the role and will include staying away from home when required to support business needs, therefore a full driving licence is required.

We are ideally for a candidate with experience in the lift industry or a solid health and safety background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sound advice and guidance on HS&E to the operational business.
  • Maintenance of the Lift Services HS&E system.
  • Maintenance of our ISO45001 & ISO14001 certifications.
  • Participation and carrying out internal and external audits.
  • Assist in accident and incident investigation.
  • Maintenance of various third party certifications held by the company

Minimum Requirements:

  • Health and safety qualifications desirable
  • Lift industry experience or proven health and safety experience essential
