About Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School and Sixth Form College

Tauheedul Islam Girls’ High School is a Muslim faith-based secondary school and sixth form for 11 to 18 year old girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none.  We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with the highest Progress 8 score nationally for our 2019 GCSE results. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored classroom support to our pupils.  You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning.  Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills.  You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.


You will have:

  • GCSE in English and Maths at grades A*-B (Grades 9-6).
  • Experience of working in a school, sixth form or college setting.
  • Experience of delivering support and/or intervention programmes.
  • The ability to teach at KS3 level (under guidance from a teacher).
  • The ability to deliver effective learning support, within the classroom and as part of small-group withdrawal – particularly in Food, Resistant Materials and Textiles lessons.
