At Crossroads Care Surrey, we’re dedicated to improving the lives of unpaid carers and the people they care for. We’re now seeking a committed and compassionate Service Manager to lead and support our care teams across Surrey.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care by managing and supporting a team of Carer Support Workers (CSWs) and Care Support Assistants (CSAs). You’ll oversee service delivery within your sector, with a strong focus on leadership, coordination, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading, supervising, and supporting field-based care staff.
• Managing rotas and sector resources efficiently.
• Handling staff performance, recruitment, and training.
• Responding to safeguarding concerns and client enquiries.
• Supporting direct care visits when required.
• Maintaining compliance with CQC and local authority regulations.
• Participating in out-of-hours on-call rota (with additional payment).

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with strong leadership and organisational skills, ideally with experience managing remote care teams.
Essential:
• Previous line management experience in care (including rostering & supervision).
• Care Certificate and knowledge of CQC regulations and Health Care Act.
• Strong IT and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high standards of care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desirable:
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience with safeguarding, learning disabilities, autism or dementia.
• Background in care assessments and care plan writing.
