Artisan People are assisting us with recruiting for a Horticulturist to work within the Savill Garden Team.
Windsor Great Park is part of The Crown Estate portfolio and includes 4800 acres of parkland including the award winning Savill and Valley Gardens.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable horticulturist to join the team.
Key tasks will include planting, weeding, pruning, grass-cutting and general maintenance.
You will hold a horticultural qualification to RHS Advanced certificate or NVQ Level 2, and have previous experience of working in a private or public garden. An understanding of the maintenance and presentation of woody and herbaceous plantings together with an excellent general knowledge of plants is essential. You must be well organised with a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate strong communication and team working skills.

The job holder will be part of a team who will maintain and develop the gardens and associated areas across The Crown Estate to the highest horticultural standards.
Full-time hours 40 hrs per week, usually Monday to Friday 0800-1700 with occasional weekend requirement.
This role is based in Windsor, there is limited public transport around this area so you must be local or able to travel.

Our recruitment process
The advert will run for two weeks initially with the option to extend if required. First stage successful candidates will have an initial phone conversation with Artisan People discussing details and location of the role and client suitability. A second stage will be a Microsoft Teams first interview and then further second interview will be arranged for successful candidates in person at Windsor Great Park.
