Role Category - the way you'll work:

This role is categorised as a roam role. Roaming roles are a mixture of home and hub working with, in some instances, a degree of being out and about delivering services to customers. Your working day will be determined by what you need to do and where you need to go to maximise your productivity. This means that you could start and finish your day in different places depending on what you need to do, so we’ll support you working from a variety of locations.

The Role:

We’re looking for an Adoptions and Technical Co-ordinator to manage section agreements throughout the project lifecycle including initial technical approval, paperwork approval and signature, ensuring works are completed to allow final sign off and adoption for Thirteen Group, Thirteen Homes, and Gus Robinson Developments.

You’ll ensure all adoption schedules are up to date and keep the company within its bond limits and assist and coordinate the preparation and submission of planning applications, detailed design, and construction information for major new-build developments. You’ll also provide input into technical viabilities, secure building regulations approval and provide technical support throughout the build process.

As an Adoptions and Technical Co-ordinator, you’ll provide and maintain architectural and engineering design and technical support to all internal departments and site-based teams, liaising with external parties, authorities and regulators to enable the business to achieve its objectives and targets.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will be talented, driven, have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You’ll have experience in a similar role within the construction sector along with experience of interacting with and managing internal and external stakeholders, with a working knowledge of section agreements, planning, design, and construction issues, building regulations and NHBC standards within the residential sector.

We’re looking for someone who is computer literate, with experience of attending concept, pre-start, specification, design team and site-based project team meetings. You’ll be confident and able to arrange meetings virtually and/or on-site to finalise sewer and road adoption works effectively and efficiently.

The future is exciting, and we only want the best to be part of it.
