Role Category - the way you'll work:

  • This role has been categorised as a hub-based role.  This means that you’ll be based at a Thirteen site, primarily because you’re dealing with customers in-person or because you need access to key equipment.  You probably won’t travel around the area for work very much and it’s unlikely that you’ll be expected or able to work from home.

The Role & The Person:

We are looking for somebody who is suitability qualified to develop, deliver and assess high quality learning programmes, in line with Awarding Body requirements.

You will have experience of utilising multiple and diverse teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of learners. You will ensure compliance and quality standards are met and be confident with administrative tasks.

Proven experience of working with customers and supporting them into their chosen progression route following training is required for this role.

In turn, you will be working within a team of individuals who strive to provide an excellent customer experience and positive outcome for each learner.

The future is exciting, and we only want the best to be part of it.

At Thirteen we're about homes and so much more.....

We’re the largest housing association in the North East and amongst the 25 biggest nationally - but we’re more than just a landlord. With 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley, we’re about more than just somewhere to live.

Our experience extends to supporting vulnerable people with thoughtful and effective additional services and improving our homes and estates, as well as building new places for people to live.

Our purpose is to provide homes, support and opportunities to grow, and our skilled and engaged colleagues and committed board directors all work tirelessly and with a sense of pride to support 70,000 tenants and customers, bringing a breadth of experience and a can-do attitude.

By doing this, we will make a major contribution to the regeneration of the Tees Valley to support the local economy.

Thirteen people are deeply passionate about what they do and why they do it. We seek to employ people who share our ambition to think and work differently. This means sourcing those passionate individuals who ensure every relationship matters, are reliable, passionate and adaptable in their approach and can work progressively in a high performing, commercially minded environment.

We require a Tutor to join our award-winning employability team as part of an EU funded programme to enhance access to employment for job seekers and inactive participants.

So come and be part of making a difference. Great days for everyone are made at Thirteen.

Are you up for the challenge of bringing our vision to life and having great days at work?
