Role Category - the way you'll work:
This role is categorised as a roam role. Roaming roles are a mixture of home and hub working with, in some instances, a degree of being out and about delivering services to customers. Your working day will be determined by what you need to do and where you need to go to maximise your productivity. This means that you could start and finish your day in different places depending on what you need to do, so we’ll support you working from a variety of locations.
This role will assist the internal investment team, in providing our customers with an excellent service, through the efficient co-ordinated delivery of group investment and improvement projects. Reporting to the Site Managers and being responsible for effective co-ordination of resources required to deliver excellent service while optimising performance, cost & risk. The role will involve carrying out pre and post inspection checks, carrying out any minor repairs prior to final handover.
As and when required, as staffing levels dictate, be able to carry out all multi-trade tasks, in order to ensure that customer service is delivered, and high standards are achieved. You will deputise for the Site Mangers during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of works and management of the site. You will assist the Investment Site Managers in providing on-site leadership and daily supervision, ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained, and safe operating procedures (SOPs) are adhered to at all times. You will ensure works are progressing in a timely manner and Thirteen’s values and behaviours are continually upheld. You will ensure any safety or quality concerns are rectified and or escalated to the Site Manager or Area Manager.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a proven track record in managing a multi-trade workforce, with strong knowledge and experience multi-trade disciplines, you will have a right first-time approach to delivering our internal investment programmes. You must be customer focused and understand all aspects of delivering a first-class service in a challenging commercial environment. Having the ability to prioritise workload, achieve realistic targets, whilst maintaining all aspects of Health & Safety is also key.
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, skilled influencer & negotiator and able to communicate effectively with external stakeholders, customers and staff.
You must have the ability to carry out a range of multi-skilled repairs and snagging. You should be proficient in using hand power tools, as well as the ability to capture and record information on a range of software media.
