Hours of work: 18 hours per week, 9 hours per day working Saturday & Sunday between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
Full UK driving licence is required.

This role has been categorised as a hub-based role. This means that you’ll be based at a Thirteen site, primarily because you’re dealing with customers in-person or because you need access to key equipment. You probably won’t travel around the area for work very much and it’s unlikely that you’ll be expected or able to work from home.

If so, we have a permanent vacancy for a Building Support Operative within our Building Support Services Team. As a BSO you will support the operational delivery of a 24/7 high performing and customer-driven service to our customers within Thirteen’s multi-occupancy buildings (whether residential or commercial) whilst also protecting our assets and neighbourhoods.
You will work closely with the Control Room Co-ordinators to carry out a range of duties including building safety patrols, fire safety checks including attendance at fire alarm activations and responding to emergency requests covering various locations. It is imperative that all duties are undertaken in a timely professional manner and recorded to meet our legislative and service standards.
We are looking for someone who can listen carefully, take direction and provide resolutions to operational issues; equally we want someone who will share our ambition to think and work differently.
Your communication skills will need to be particularly effective as you will be interacting with a wide range of internal colleagues, our customers as well as third party stakeholders. You also need to be flexible and adaptable due to the reactive nature of the service.
