Job Description

At Thrings, our Agriculture team is one of the largest and most respected in the UK. With longstanding clients across the farming and rural sectors, we handle some of the most interesting and complex non-contentious agricultural work in the country.

We’re now looking for a Senior Paralegal with solid experience in agricultural and rural property work to join our expanding team.

About the Role

You’ll be a key part of a thriving department, supporting and running matters involving:

  • Support our experienced team in acting for farming families, estates, and agri-businesses on a range of matters with a key focus on property aspects relating to succession and restructuring
  • Land registration and title investigations
  • Working with the team on farm sales and purchases, development land, overage and easements, estate management and commercial leases

You’ll work closely with highly regarded solicitors and partners, receive genuine support for progression, and become a familiar face to clients who value long-standing relationships.

About You

You may be a paralegal in a well-regarded rural or property team — ideally with:

  • Strong practical experience handling land/property files in a rural/agricultural context
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive, proactive approach and clear communication style

Experience working with farming families, landed estates or private clients and supporting senior fee-earners on complex rural transactions will be a real asset

Why Thrings?

  • A team with national recognition in rural law, but a personal, approachable culture
  • Support for career progression
  • High-quality work with excellent clients and mentorship from sector specialists
  • Flexible working and a culture that recognises the importance of work/life balance
