Thrings is a vibrant expanding law firm with a diverse client base offering excellent career prospects to talented and driven individuals.  We operate in offices in Bristol, Bath, London, Swindon and Romsey, serving clients within the UK, but increasingly with an international presence.

We’re a client focused firm who has award winning lawyers working for us.  We’re noted by Chambers & Partners for the relationships we’ve built with our clients, and the increasing presence we’re building in the markets and clients we serve.  We provide a range of services to different clients in areas such as Agriculture, Private Client, Corporate & Commercial and Commercial Property and are noted for having specialists that practice in each of these areas.  We work across offices, with different practice areas to best serve the needs of our clients.

Our Private Property Legal Director based in our Romsey office is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join the team to provide support in the continued growth of Private Property Practice ideally based out of Romsey, Bath or Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is confident, ambitious, dynamic and happy to get stuck in.

Working directly with Partners and Associates across the wider department and team, you will support them with progressing matters, whilst managing and running your own caseload.  As well as managing your own caseload you will be expected to support the growth of practice by attending, and hosting networking events, building your own personal profile as well as that of Thrings in the Romsey market.

You will be expected to manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, such as; freehold and leasehold sales, purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity and new build matters, from initial instruction through to completion. Experience in these matters will be essential to your success in the role.

From the start you will have the opportunity to assist in maintaining and developing relationships with the firm’s clients and becoming established as the next “port of call” for clients providing a seamless service.

The idyllic rural setting of the Romsey office which is located on the Mountbatten estate provides a great, modern working environment.  Our open office culture means that you will be sat with Partners and Legal Secretaries which provides a great opportunity to work collaboratively on the day to day tasks. We’re keen to develop and nurture the talent we have so we would love to find someone who wants to build a longstanding career with Thrings.
