The role
You will be responsible for answering and solving queries and providing internal support to over 500 users within our London Office and those working remotely. You will be key in maintaining the lines of communication between the IT department and all other departments within the organisation as well as coordinating all IT activities through our in-house ticketing system.

As customer service is at the forefront of what we do here at Transact, you must be customer focused and demonstrate the ability to offer a high-level of service over the phone and in person within defined SLA's.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and action 10+ queries a day via our in-house ticketing system
  • Maintain lines of communication between the IT department and all areas of the business
  • Coordinate a complex set of systems to set up new users and create accounts
  • Assist in the installation, upgrading and maintenance of desktop and voice infrastructures
  • Carry out desktop/laptop rollout and replacements

Essential experience:

  • 1-3 years in a 1st/2nd Line IT service desk support role

Working knowledge of:

  • Windows 10
  • Administration from a command line – CMD, Bash or Powershell
  • Microsoft Office packages
  • Email & web browser troubleshooting
  • PC hardware, set up and configuration
  • DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP addressing and computer networks
  • Remote Working Tools
