Job Description

About UnLtd

UnLtd is the leading provider of support to social entrepreneurs in the UK and offers the largest such network in the world. Our mission is to find social entrepreneurs with bold solutions to today’s challenges. Through funding and support, we help them to realise their potential and creating lasting change.

UnLtd values diversity and is committed to inclusion and understanding intersectionality. These are more than just buzz words for us; they are principles guiding how we build our teams, support leaders and empower social entrepreneurs. We want to create an organisation that’s the right fit for everyone we work with.

To support an inclusive environment where employees feel empowered to share their lived experiences and ideas, we have embedded an equity and inclusion group within UnLtd, giving us a wide range of different perspectives in our work to help us see what is most needed in society. We are particularly keen to hear from those who identify as Black, Asian or minority ethnic, LGBTQIA, disabled people, those with learning differences, those with caring responsibilities, from a less advantaged socioeconomic background as well as any other under-represented group in our workforce.

About the Role

You have proven experience working within teams and as an administrator, managing your own priorities efficiently. You will be responsible for general administration duties supporting UnLtd’s Social Entrepreneur Award programmes, particularly the administration of our newly funded National Lottery Climate Action Programme. Reporting to the User Journey and Experience Lead you will work closely with colleagues across the Social Entrepreneur Support Directorate acting as the first point of call for social entrepreneurs applying for an Award. You will provide internal administrative support throughout the application process and post-application journey. This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing people-focused support with strong organisation and attention to detail. You'll be equally comfortable speaking with applicants, managing complex information and data, and working collaboratively with colleagues to improve systems, processes and the overall applicant experience.

Interested? Here’s how to apply

We need to know a bit about you, your experience and what you can bring to UnLtd.

You must submit a CV + supporting statement (up to 2 pages). In your supporting statement, you must answer the following questions to be considered for the role, using no more than 300 words per question:

  1. People applying for funding may need additional guidance or may be disappointed by an outcome. How would you provide a clear, inclusive and supportive service? Please also explain what you would do if you received an enquiry you could not resolve yourself.
  2. Please give an example of how you have used digital systems, such as a CRM database, Excel, Microsoft 365 or similar, to maintain accurate records or support an administrative process. What did you do to ensure the information was accurate, and how did you contribute to the process working effectively?
  3. Why do you want to work as a User Journey Administrator at UnLtd, and what skills, experience and personal qualities would you bring to the role?

We want our team to reflect the diversity of the communities we work alongside. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and other minoritised ethnic backgrounds, disabled and LGBTQIA+ people, and people from a wide range of socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
