Support Worker - Rochester

£12.74 per hour

We Are Recruiting:

✅ 2 x Male Support Workers
✅ 1 x Female Support Worker

These positions are subject to Genuine Occupational Requirements in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the needs and preferences of the people we support.

Typical Shifts

Monday to Sunday (including rotating weekends)

  • Early Shift: 7:30am - 2:30pm
  • Late Shift: 2:15pm - 9:15pm

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Access to a vehicle preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends

About the Role

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and hands-on Support Workers to join our friendly residential service in Rochester.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with a range of needs, helping them to live independently, pursue their goals and enjoy meaningful lives within their local community.

No two days are the same. You will be supporting individuals with:

  • Personal care, including bathing, dressing and hygiene support
  • Helping people prepare meals and maintain their homes
  • Medication support where required
  • Accessing the local community, including shopping, appointments and social activities
  • Building confidence and promoting independence
  • Encouraging hobbies, interests and new experiences
  • Supporting people to maintain relationships with family and friends

One day you could be supporting someone on a trip to the cinema, local pub or community event, while the next you could be helping them develop life skills at home, enjoy a film night or achieve a personal goal.

We're seeking compassionate and resilient individuals who have a genuine passion for supporting others.

Ideally, candidates will have experience supporting people with:

  • Autism
  • Mental health conditions
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Behaviours of distress
  • Trauma-informed approaches
  • Forensic backgrounds
  • Complex support needs
