At our Framingham Earl service, you’ll support six people to live as independently as possible, encouraging them to try new things, make their own choices and enjoy the community around them.

The Role

Role: Female Support Worker*
Location: Framingham Earl
Hours: Monday–Sunday, 7.30am–3pm and 3pm–10pm, plus sleep-ins
Pay: £13.05ph up to £14.55ph
Driving: Full UK driving licence required

Your Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll get to know the people you support and help make their everyday lives more fulfilling.

You’ll:

  • Support people with their daily routines and personal care
  • Encourage independence and develop life skills
  • Support people to access their local community
  • Enjoy activities, socialising and day trips together
  • Help people work towards their individual goals
  • Provide consistent, patient and person-centred support
  • Support people with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy and behaviours of distress

One day you could be out and about in the local community or enjoying a day trip, and the next you could be spending time at home taking part in activities together.

It could be helping someone prepare their own dinner, encouraging them to try something new or supporting them to achieve a bigger goal like going on holiday.

Whatever their goal, you’ll be there to help make it possible.

Who This Role Is For

You’ll be someone who:

  • Has a full UK driving licence
  • Is genuinely caring, patient and hands-on
  • Is resilient, flexible and composed
  • Has experience supporting people with enhanced needs
  • Is comfortable supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and epilepsy
  • Can confidently support people who may display behaviours of distress
  • Has a passion for helping people build confidence and independence

You don’t need to have every skill from day one. What matters most is your caring attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.
