The Role


Service: Ancaster Mews
Location: Greylees, Sleaford
Hours: 7.30am–2.30pm and 2.30pm–9.30pm
Pay: £13.00ph up to £14.50ph with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements

Due to the location of the service, drivers with access to a vehicle are required.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will be varied, practical and rewarding.

You’ll support people with complex needs, including wheelchair users, with things such as:

  • Personal care and everyday routines
  • Developing life skills and independence
  • Mobility and everyday support for wheelchair users
  • Getting out into the community
  • Shopping, swimming, gardening, arts and crafts
  • Building confidence and making choices
  • Working towards individual goals
  • Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice

You’ll be encouraged to get involved, have fun and help the people you support make the most of their day.

The Person Behind the Support

Great Support Workers come from all walks of life.

You could already have experience in complex care, autism, physical disabilities or supporting people with mobility needs. Or you may simply be someone who knows that caring for others is what you’re good at.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable providing hands-on support and personal care
  • Confident supporting people with complex needs
  • Calm and resilient when things don't go to plan
  • Flexible and happy working shifts
  • Comfortable supporting wheelchair users and mobility needs
