Waking Night Support Worker (Male)

Wembley | £13.00 per hour

Typical Shifts: 9:00pm to 7:00am, including weekends.

About the Role

We are looking for caring, resilient and dedicated Male Waking Night Support Workers to join our team in Wembley. During the night, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of the people we support, while promoting independence and person-centred care.

Our residential service supports adults with complex needs, including autism, mental health conditions, forensic histories, trauma experiences and behaviours of distress. You will work closely with colleagues to provide consistent support, follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and maintain detailed records throughout your shift.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing overnight support and reassurance
  • Supporting with personal care when required
  • Promoting independence and life skills
  • Following Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring a safe environment
  • Completing accurate records and handovers
  • Supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be resilient, flexible and calm under pressure
  • Have experience supporting adults with complex needs
  • Understand Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Have experience supporting individuals with autism, mental health conditions, trauma backgrounds or behaviours of distress
