About the Role

We're looking for caring, compassionate and hands-on Support Workers to join our friendly team in Gillingham. You'll play a vital role in supporting people to live as independently as possible while helping them achieve their personal goals and enjoy fulfilling lives.

No two days are ever the same. You could be supporting individuals with daily living skills, community activities and social outings, while also providing hands-on personal care, continuous care support, medication assistance and emotional support. One day might involve a trip to the cinema or local pub, while another could be spent enjoying games, movies or helping someone develop new skills at home.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference, supporting people to build confidence, gain independence and achieve meaningful outcomes.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who are:

  • Caring, positive and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Experienced in providing hands-on personal care and continuous care support
  • Confident supporting individuals with daily living activities, personal care, medication administration and emotional wellbeing
  • Resilient, flexible and calm under pressure
  • Familiar with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and reflective practice
  • Experienced in supporting people with autism, mental health needs, behaviours of distress, trauma backgrounds and forensic histories

Why Choose Voyage Care?

Experience isn't always essential. What's most important is your passion for supporting others and your desire to make a positive impact.

We'll provide excellent training, ongoing development and career progression opportunities from day one. Whether you're starting your career in care or looking for your next challenge, we'll support you every step of the way.

At Voyage Care, we celebrate individuality and encourage everyone to be themselves. In return, you'll join a supportive team within a sector-leading organisation that offers stability, development and meaningful work.

Apply today and start a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference.

Please note: All successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Certain roles may require male or female staff only where this is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
