Job Description
Community Biodiversity Projects Ranger
Initial salary between £26574 and £31434 per annum
Fixed-Term - 2 Year Contract - Full Time – 37 hours Monday – Friday
Based in the Kings Lynn area
We are delighted to be able to offer a new opportunity for a practical, passionate, self-motivated individual who can project manage and has knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and working techniques, including an understanding of H&S Regulations. This is a hands-on role where you will drive biodiversity projects across the Borough.
We are looking for someone with experience and confidence in using tools, coordinating volunteers and managing contractors. You will be organised, a great communicator and committed to collaborative working across the Borough – including supporting communities in shaping their local natural spaces and building community partnerships with a range of stakeholders. You must have a full UK driving licence and prepared to travel around the Borough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and make a tangible impact to biodiversity and communities across Kings Lynn and West Norfolk. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values energy, initiative, and a shared commitment to nature’s recovery. If you’re motivated by action, not just ideas, and ready to take the lead on practical delivery that makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Closing Date: 4 June 2025
