Council Information Centre Advisor
Salary between £16,398 and £19,392 per annum
Based at King’s Court Council Offices
Our Customer Services team handles a wide range of enquiries and prides itself on its ability to resolve the majority of these at the first point of contact. If you are passionate about delivering great customer service with excellent communication skills we need you to join our busy team.
You will respond to enquiries received mainly over the telephone, but also via email and face-to-face at the Council office in King’s Lynn. You will be a confident team player with experience of taking responsibility for issues and seeing them through to conclusion. You must also be able to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate, spoken English.
In this busy role you will need to be prepared to handle high volumes of telephone calls and personal visits professionally and courteously, even when under pressure. You will need to use a variety of computer software systems to respond to enquiries and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
