About the role

We're recruiting for a Neighbourhood Team Leader who understands the importance of delivering high-quality neighbourhood services that create clean, safe and welcoming environments for our customers and communities.

As a Neighbourhood Team Leader, you'll lead and support frontline neighbourhood teams, ensuring environmental services are delivered to a high standard while maintaining compliance with health and safety legislation, operational procedures and environmental regulations.

Working closely with housing colleagues, customers and external partners, you'll help improve neighbourhoods and deliver positive outcomes for our communities.

The role is subject to a satisfactory Level 1 Disclosure Check.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will:

  • be committed to providing outstanding customer service;
  • have experience working in a customer-focused environment;
  • have experience delivering environmental services;
  • have operational experience of health and safety compliance requirements;
  • be able to lead, motivate and support teams to achieve agreed service standards and targets;
  • have strong communication, planning and organisational skills;
  • show initiative, take ownership and take pride in their work;
  • be able to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues and partners;
  • have experience of waste management and SEPA compliance requirements (desirable);
  • have experience operating horticultural machinery (desirable); and
  • hold a full UK driving licence.
